Who is responsible
Cyprus Auto Guide is operated by Jonathan Mimouni, trading as Easy Internet (the "operator"). For any question about personal data, write to [email protected]. This notice took effect on 13 October 2026 and describes the website as it is actually built.
What the website collects when you browse
Reading this site does not create an account or a visitor profile. The hosting server keeps standard technical logs (the address your connection comes from, the time, the page requested and the browser type) for security and fault finding, as every web server does; these logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period and are not used to identify readers.
Search runs inside your browser over page titles and summaries. The words you type are not sent to us.
Forms
At the time of writing, no form is open. Enquiry, contact, business listing and correction forms are switched off, and the pages say so. When a form is opened, this is how it works:
- You enter name, email, an optional phone number and your message. Mobility enquiries add location, expected duration, vehicle needs and an optional budget. Business listing requests add the business name, website, category and location. Correction reports add the page address. Do not send passport, licence, card or identity details; the forms do not ask for them.
- The request is saved in a private database on the site's own hosting and emailed to the editorial team at the operator's address. Nothing is forwarded to a rental company, dealer or any other provider unless you ask us to and we tell you who will receive it.
- To limit abuse, the site records a one-way hash of your connection address for one hour, not the address itself.
- Requests are deleted 12 months after they arrive, unless you ask for earlier deletion or a request is still being handled.
The purpose of this processing is to answer your request. The basis is the handling of the request you make (contract or pre-contractual steps) and, for the abuse protection, our legitimate interest in keeping the forms working. The optional "email me updates" box is separate and only takes effect if you tick it; no mailing programme exists yet, and we will not email you updates until one does.
Who else receives data
The hosting provider (which stores the website and the private database) and the email service that delivers the notification. There are no analytics, advertising or marketing processors. Data is not sold.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to [email protected]; we may ask you to confirm you are the sender before releasing anything. You can also complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection through its official website.

The cookie notice lists the small amount of storage the site uses. If this notice changes materially, the date at the top changes and a note is added to the corrections page.
